Alumni Newsletter - Spring 2026
Welcome to the latest Talos Alumni Update!
Spring is in the air, and our alumni network continues to grow in reach and impact. From a new Brussels-based think tank founded by six former fellows, to roles at the UK's AISI and UNESCO, to publications in the World Economic Forum and the Indian Express, it's been a remarkable quarter.
Applications are now open for the Autumn 2026 Talos Fellowship! If you or someone you know would be a great fit, now is the time to submit an application. Some of our strongest candidates come through direct referrals, so please share the link below with anyone you'd recommend.
As always, we’re inspired by the impact of our alumni network and are thrilled to share some of their latest highlights with you.

Introducing Arq Foundation: A New Think Tank for AGI Preparedness
The Advanced AI portfolio of the Centre for Future Generations is spinning out into a new independent Brussels-based think tank, Arq Foundation, focused on AGI preparedness and advanced AI governance. The organisation is being co-founded by eight people, including six former Talos Fellows - Max Reddel, Bálint Pataki, Sam Bogerd, Daan Juijn, Alex Petropoulos, and Felicity Reddel - and will be led by Max Reddel as CEO. We're thrilled to see Talos alumni building new institutions in this critical space!
